that breakfast was included, a box lunch was also included and the quality of the food was very good
The beds were comfortable, bathroom very good , all very clean and good value breakfast and the staff did a good job.
Very very small room and a slightly intimidating street scene. Three other Hotels that I saw in the group were better placed perhaps for Women on their own.
Excellent hotel staff (very customer oriented) - 10+, good breakfast (ham, cheese, butter, self boiled eggs, croissant, pain au chocolat, corn flakes, milk, yoghurt, different juices, etc.), nice extras: welcome drink + lunch bag (2 sandwiches, cut apple, water 1/2 liter, chips), clean room with lcd, electric kettle with free tea bags & instant cofee. Bathroom renewed and clean.
The size of the room. The room is really very small but is clean and recently renewed. Anyway we spent only the nights in the room and finally we enjoyed our stay.
The hotel staff were excellent especially Norbert(on reception). He went out of his way to help us and he enabled us to have a very enjoyable short break. He photocopied bus and train timetables and told us the best way to get around ie where the bus stops were, what to do and see on trips etc. Also the packed lunches were a real bonus and were ideal for eating on the go. The continental breakfast was also quite adequate with a varied selection available.
The hotel is a little on the dark side. Hall and corridor lights are not switched on at night and can be difficult to locate. The stairs are a bit dark too.
location, near to Nice Ville train station for travelling Cannes, Monaco etc... ;lunch box, staff very friendly. helpfull.
rooms too small
I liked the location, it's very close to the railway station and 15 minutes walk to the centre. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel provides a good breakfast and package of sandwiches with water, which was really useful. I highly recommend this hotel
No complaints at all
Plenty of time for a leisurely breakfast, available till 10.30.
Just a bit noisy overlooking the train station.
I asked for a quiet room, and they gave me a nice room on 5th floor, away from the main road. I liked the free wi-fi. The staff were helpful and friendly. Also, I got a free lunch box everyday, a welcome drink, and breakfast was included. The breakfast was also satisfactory. Tea/coffee in the room too. Close to train station. A 20 minute bus ride to/from airport, with a bus stop very close to hotel and at the train station.
There ought to be a little safe in the room for security of belongings. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the beaches (pebble) and old town. The tram stop is quite near though, which can help and goes to old town and very near the beach front.
The of check in on arrival and check out the willing of staff with sight seeing information breakfast was exellent really enjoyed our stay
Rooms a bit on the small side
packed lunch and flexibility to modify our booking
small room, welcome drink was a disappointment
Close to the station. Made getting to Monaco for the Historic Grand Prix easy. Parking opposite hotel in a multi storey carpark ensured our car was safe.
The hotel was well situated at only a few hundred yards from hotel. The tram was very close and very convenient at a cost of only 1€ per journey. The train was excellent with access to many places. We went to the historic grand prix at Monaco and Antibes - both great
The excellent location has its downsides with traffic noise which we are not used too. The buffet breakfast was satisfactory except one day when they ran out of milk, bread, croissants an hour before end of breakfast time. This was very unsatisfactory and needs addressing.
the breakfsst was generslly good although on one occassion they rsn out of milk.for the cereal.
the room was very hot, and as it was on the first floor and having the window open meant that we had to put up with a lot of street noise including the night porter standing outside the main entrance talking loudly to passers by while he had a cigarette making it difficult to get to sleep.
Loved the provision of a lunch, staff were very attentive.
Very good location, clean rooms and an excellent breakfast.
Female reception staff were not the most friendly (the male receptionist was brilliant!)
